Nice Lodging Place in Kuching

Hey pals, check out the link to Singgahsana Lodge , i've went in to have a look just the other day and i'm really impressed, small but cool, cozy place and very "ethnic" feel ~^^ cheaper rates and good connection to transportation and places of interest in town. Almost as good as those self-service lodge in Europe that i've been to. Personally i would recommend to try this place rather than the normal hotels :p

woMan's Best Friend

There's this wonderful quote I bet every dog owner will agree on why we love our dogs sooo....much:~

So here i'm gonna dedicate this special post to my doggie:~

Name: Coco

Gender : neutralized Female

Age: 6 years old

Character: Moody, gentle & elegant baby

Health: overall healthy though sometimes constipation

Loves : sunbathing, keropok, coffee & big bones

Hates: wet rainy days (too elegant that she refuses to go for walk 'coz dun wanna wet its paw) ; medicine

Skills : ability to stand on two back foot (provided with motivator ie. favourite food) & shake hand (only when she feels like to~ definitely not by instruction)

Weakness: very choosy in food, slow eater & car sick (once get in car will tremble, puke, pee & berak all-in-one)

Scared of : fire crackers & motorbikes

Cool Countdown

This year's countdown was in a totally different setting ~ instead of the crowded, smoky & noisy bars, i headed to Borneo Highlands for cool highland breeze & spa retreat. Situated in the Land of the Hornbill & standing at 1000 meters above sea level, the resort is within an hour drive from Kuching city.

Two things i wanna share with you 'bout this short trip:

1. The most inspiring panaromic mountain scenery with clouds and mists below my feet at the Kalimantan Border. I can't find any word to describe the spectacular view, you have to see it for yourself.

2. Spending most of the time enjoying my dip in the Jungle Spa with total relaxation~^^ followed by a one-hour Traditional Bidayuh Massage with homemade oil brewed from herbs, coconut, pepper & ginger to heat and warm the body & increases blood circulation - exactly what i need.

And that's how i celebrated my new year countdown, how 'bout you?
